An Aberdeen woman charged in a string of burglaries and accused of aiding her husband after he escaped made a brief court appearance Monday.
Kristin Barnes, 22, did not enter pleas in the cases.
Barnes is charged with four counts of burglary, one count of concealment of a prisoner, one count of false reporting, one count of obstructing law enforcement and one count of aggravated eluding of law enforcement. Obstruction and false reporting are misdemeanors; the rest of the crimes are felonies. Barnes also faces burglary charges in another case.
She is married to Todd "T.J." Barnes, 20, of Aberdeen, who escaped from law enforcement last month after being taken to the hospital. He has since been captured. He has already pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and now faces a host of other escape- and theft-related charges.
