A gun was found in a vehicle in the Aberdeen Central High School parking lot on Friday, law enforcement sources confirmed.

School Resource Officer Jeff Carlson said he couldn't comment on the incident and referred questions to Superintendent Gary Harms.

Nobody answered the phone at the District Service Center, where Harms works, Friday afternoon.

Carlson said it's possible more information would be released Monday. Bookmark and Share
